What makes PLAYit ahead of its competition, such as VLC and MX player, is that it also functions as a video downloader. With this, you can save videos from social media and video-sharing sites. Moreover, it comes with an MP3 converter, allowing you to convert your downloaded video to audio. Although, it cannot download videos from YouTube.
What can you do with PLAYit?
PLAYit is a powerful video player for your mobile device. It allows you to watch practically any video saved on your phone as it supports the most popular formats. Not only that, but the app comes with various nifty features that make your streaming experience better. It offers a multi-play option and easy gesture control. Moreover, it has a floating player, allowing you to use other apps while watching.
More than a video player, the app also functions as a music player. You only have to tap the music button to see all your audio files. Then, you can play it in shuffle or one-by-one. As with other music players, the app plays in the background. What makes it more unique is that it allows you to play just the audio track from your videos.
PLAYit also comes with a built-in video downloader. The app also gives you easy access to social media and video-sharing sites by tapping the download button. Downloading is also easy as it only needs you to tap the icon. Moreover, the app allows you to convert MP4 files to MP3. Note, however, that the download speed is relatively slow. There are also tons of advertisements, making the download even slower.
All-in-one multimedia app
Overall, PLAYit is a multimedia app that provides you with everything you need. With this, you have a video player, music player, downloader, and converter all in one tool. Not only that, but the app has smooth handling as it comes with a simple interface. Although, the download speed is slower than native downloaders. Additionally, annoying advertisements pop up every time, getting in the way of your streaming.
